Angland was losing ground out in the western elvish kingdom to the contending orcish empire in "the war of the queen" (1912-1920) , and in an effort to bolster their forces foxfolk from all over angland were called to do their part. the rules of war had changed and foxfolk could join regardless of their fur. From a decree said over 680 years ago or about 1220.

Even if the rules of war changes, some were fitted with rather jarring kilts of the Angle kingdoms colors by the senior officers mainly as an excuse for stealing a few issued pants to make makeshift machine gun coolants, the war artists saw these creatures fearlessness in battle as others cringed at the command to leave the trench, martial pipes sounding.
